WHAT IS A FANLISTING?

If you're unfamiliar to what the point a fanlisting is for, it's a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject. In this case, this is a fanlisting for the relationship between Ichi & Daiay Shinpo of Parfait Tic (also known as Pafechikku).

WHY POLARITY?

POLARITY had suddenly popped into my head when I was thinking of words that meant opposites. Being the loser I am, I asked my brother if Polarity seemed like a nice word and he agreed :T So then, to try and see if I can get any nicer words, I asked a few friends of mine. I got lots of suggestions (much appreciated, guys), but in the end, I still liked Polarity the best so I decided to use it. If none of you know what polarity means, it means opposites (duh?). I'm very fond of the name for this fanlisting so I doubt I'd be changing it any time soon. In addition, Fuuko had mentioned that Daiya was like the sun and Ichi was like the moon and we all know that the sun and moon are complete opposite things XD

PARFAIT TIC!

Parfait Tic is a manga created and drawn by Nanaji Nagamu about a carefree and weird (yet unique) girl named Fuuko Kameyama who meets two [extremely handsome] cousins, Daiya and Ichi Shinpo. Neighbors who are the same age and go to the same school, the trio eventually start a love triangle and Fuuko has a hard time between choosing who she really likes. This manga is full of romance and comedy that you don't normally find in every other romance mangas. It is, from me, a high recommendation that you should go scout out this manga as soon as you can!

DAIYA SHINPO

Shinpo Daiya is one hot god of a.. a guy who's full of many faces; happy and sad. But in general, Daiya is happy-go-lucky guy who's simply carefree and out to have fun. At first, one would assume that Daiya's a player who does nothing but hang around outside of class and flirting with girls. His cousin, or better known as his other half, Ichi knows him pretty well since they've always been together since they were babies. He tells Fuuko, the heroine of the story, that he does not know what it means to like/love someone and that he has never been serious about a girl before. This simply implies that he just fools around with other girls. From the very beginning, it seems that Daiya had already developed a crush for our little Fuuko, but just doesn't realize it until later (only when she stopped liking him and started liking Ichi). Daiya considers himself as someone who's easy to get along with. During summer vacation, the girls and Fuuko consider Daiya as the Sun, always brightly shining. However, in contrast, the sun is not always there, so things may seem dull. This reflects Daiya's personality a lot. Despite the fact that the sun (him) may always be out, there are times when it'll be dark and gloomy. No matter how bright it is, it will always have its dull times. Daiya is not all too smart and do not get the best grades, but he's very athletic and participates in many sport activities. He has a clowny side to him, which makes him the more sociable. Many people are most likely attracted to Daiya because he's so easy to get along with. He may seem easy to understand, but he's still a guy and every guy gots to have some secrets. Daiya tries to not let small things bother him and is not as mature as Ichi is. He has a child-like side which can be seen as a good and positive attribute.

ICHI SHINPO

Shinpo Ichi is one of the top students in the school and not to mention, one of the most popular guys (along with Daiya). That's right. Even the laid-back and silent type like Ichi has crowds of girl fans all around school. Ichi is academically smart and athletic, but probably not as active as Daiya. As cousins, Ichi has known Daiya ever since they were kids so in tough times, Ichi tends to be leniant when dealing with Daiya. Ichi has a crush on not only on Fuuko, but also an older woman named Iori. Daiya calls her Iorin, but is not always fond of her because she is the cause of Ichi hurting Fuuko. Ichi has a long time throughout the manga choosing between the present and the past; which implies that he can't decide if he wants to be with Fuuko or Iori. Ichi is, most of the time, very honest about his feelings when he's with Fuuko, but other times, he's very quiet and keeps his thoughts to himself. This tends to make other characters think that he's attractive yet mysterious. Being the complete opposite of Daiya, Ichi is described as the moon. This implies that Ichi, like the moon, has a cold and mysterious exterior that many cannot penetrate. The moon has its craters which serves as Ichi's hidden scars (from the past). Many times, the moon also tries to hide from everyone else by hiding behind clouds, which describes Ichi partically well. In the manga, you can tell that once Ichi is comfortable with someone else, he starts to open up to them and it's then we see him teasing them happily. Ichi, just like the moon, emits a happy aura once you accept him for who he is. Ichi is a guy full of many hidden secrets he don't normally tell people and he seems very serious and cold almost all the time. Ichi is not particularly fond with making friends and is not very sociable.

DAIYA & ICHI

The SUN and the MOON ; Daiya and Ichi Shinpo - We see these two a lot together (probably because they're cousins?!). However, we don't see a lot of interactions between these two. We can tell that they care about each other though, but in very subtle ways such as what they tell other people about the other one. Particularly, I support their friendship rather than their rivalry (for Fuuko) because I like it best when they're getting along rather than fighting. Since these two, like the sun and the moon, are in such opposite contrasts, they don't always get along. However, I feel that one will always need the other one to balance each other out just like the Sun can't go on without the Moon and vice versa. Daiya tends to be very competitive against others (or maybe it's just towards Ichi, hmm? XD). Ichi also has a competitive side to him, but tends to not show it (along with his many feelings) to try and seem mature compared to Daiya. These two are complete opposites and do not agree on the same things. However, in certain cases (especially dealing with Fuuko), these two tend to express their feelings very openly. Particularly, since they're cousins, they have no problem opening up and talking to each other. It's just that it may not always be in a very friendly way. Instead, it's usually very cool and calm conversations. Out of all the relationships they have with other people, since they're cousins, I feel that they should start building on their friendship because you don't seem them acting very friendly towards each other much in the manga. But I'm sure as long as the feud between the two dealing with Fuuko exists, it will interfere with their friendship.
